Croatian for Foreign Workers (for employers)

Effective communication in the workplace improves collaboration, enhances safety, and helps employees integrate more easily into a new environment. For many foreign workers in Croatia, learning the language is not only important for work but also for everyday life, independence, and integration.

Following the recent amendments to the Foreigners Act, foreign workers in Croatia are required to pass a Croatian language proficiency exam at the A1.1 level. Our lessons are designed as practical preparation for this requirement, while official examinations are conducted in accredited institutions authorised to provide certified testing.

Our Croatian language programme for foreign workers is tailored to the real needs of both employees and employers. The emphasis is on communicative competence and language used in everyday situations and in the workplace.

What we focus on:

– workplace and team communication

– everyday situations and practical language use

– vocabulary related to workplace safety

– building confidence and independence in speaking

– listening and reading comprehension

– reducing foreign language anxiety

We adapt every program to the industry, work environment, prior knowledge, and the goals of the employer and employees.

Flexible learning options:

– on-site classes at the employer’s premises (larger groups)

– online classes for smaller groups or individual participants (for smaller groups, fewer than 5 participants)

The intensity and duration of the programme are adapted to work schedules and learning goals. The minimum number of hours required to complete the A1.1 level is 70.

*To ensure the highest quality of service, communication between the teacher and the team manager or HR is required.
